THE Office of Civil Defense (OCD) has started to distribute personal protective equipment (PPE), some of which were procured by the Department of Health (DoH) from China, as part of the Philippines' efforts in containing the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.

The first batch of PPEs are about 900,000 which arrived on Tuesday evening at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.
