Private firms link for faster subsidy delivery

Private groups have collaborated to provide the government alternative encashment facilities for its social amelioration program.

In a statement on Friday, Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP), MASS-SPECC Cooperative Development Center (MASS-SPECC), National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO), and CIS Bayad Center Inc. to form a collaboration called “Damayang Sambayanihan: Hatid-Ayuda sa Kababayan.”
