REPACKING of relief items consist of rice and groceries including bottled water is now on its full swing as several truckloads of relief goods requisitioned by Mayor Edwin Olivarez for immediate delivery are now being unloaded in this file photo March 25 at Parañaque Sports Complex in Parañaque City.
The food items are simultaneously repacked and delivered to families in different barangays affected by enhanced community quarantine. According to Mar Jimenez, PIO Chief (inset) who heads the group of Essential Service Providers in the distribution for target beneficiaries, the city government has allocated and distributed roughly 70,000 bags of food items in coordination with Brgy. Captains to about 16 Barangays in span of one week beginning March 21.
