LISTENING yesterday to several briefings on the progress of our war against the coronavirus — one by Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd and another by Cabinet Secretary and Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases spokesman Karlo Nograles — it struck me that key health and administration officials, particularly those who will make the critical decisions in the IATF, need to be reminded that there is another patient in urgent need of attention in this horrible emergency — the economy.
