SEN. Maria Josefa Imelda “Imee” Marcos on Sunday said as frontliners themselves, janitors and garbage collectors must also receive compensation under the Bayanihan Act.
The senator said garbage collectors, street sweepers, janitors and other workers involved in sanitizing communities “should be considered frontliners just as crucial as medical staff” in the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
