The Philippines on Sunday announced it is postponing the International Fleet Review (IFR) and the hosting of the 17th Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS), all scheduled this May, because of the global coronavirus pandemic.
VAdm. Giovanni Carlo Bacordo, Philippine Navy flag officer in command, said notices of postponement are being sent to the navies from 17 countries that were invited to the two major naval events.
