THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has started distributing cash dole outs to 18-million poor households hit hard by the Covid-19 lockdown.
Under the “Social Amelioration Program (SAP) Bayanihan Fund: Tulong Laban sa Covid-19,” each household will receive between P5,000 and P8,000, depending on the specific region’s minimum wage rate.
