THE Department of Health (DoH) on Wednesday warned smokers of cigarettes, tobacco products or electronic cigarettes that they are most likely to develop complications brought about by the coronavirus disease 2019 (covid-19) that may lead to their death.
“Smoking is known to weaken the immune system, making it less able to respond to infection,” said Health Special Assistant Beverly Ho.
