LOS ANGELES: The National Football League (NFL) has outlined details for a “virtual draft” to be held later this month after original plans for the April 23-25 event in Las Vegas were scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic.

An NFL report on the league’s website said commissioner Roger Goodell had notified all 32 teams that the draft would take place using the phone and internet in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.
