President Rodrigo Duterte has urged survivors of the 2019 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) to donate their blood to help patients suffering from the viral illness recover.
Duterte made the call after the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) asked Covid-19 survivors to donate blood for the hospital’s experimental treatment for patients with severe symptoms of the disease.
