‘Libingan’ burial for fallen frontliners: Lawmaker

A party-list representative has sought for state honors and burial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes Cemetery) for Coronavirus disease 2019 frontliners who died in the line of duty.

Ako Bicol Rep. Alfredo Garbin Jr. said that fallen frontliners such as doctors, nurses, barangay health workers, and policemen must be given honors for their “supreme sacrifice for love of country, loyalty to the people, and devotion to their profession.”
