'Rise above political differences', reflect on how to help others in this time of crisis, lawmaker asks colleagues

SEN. Sherwin Gatchalian on Thursday said that this year’s observance of the Holy Week was an opportune time for everyone to reflect on what has been happening around the globe.

The lawmaker was referring to the coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19 pandemic which has left many people with dread and fear, especially those who do not have much to feed their families and those who grieve because they lost their loved ones.
