The departments of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and of Energy (DoE) have partnered to speed up the implementation of energy projects in the country.
In a draft joint memorandum circular called “Guidelines for LGUs (Local Government Units) to Facilitate the Implementation of Energy Projects,” the departments said these units, through their local councils, should activate their respective energy committees to implement the memo.
