THE true spirit of "Bayanihan (helping each other) is alive in the midst of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) crisis, a Cabinet official said on Saturday, lauding the country's business community for helping Filipinos affected by the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
Presidential peace adviser and National Task Force on Covid-19 Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. thanked the private sector for its "Project Ugnayan," which has raised P 1.7 billion for 1.5 million low-income families affected by the lockdown.
