THE Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 1 (DA-RFO 1) has embarked a P10-million research and development (R&D) fund for a project that would ensure the public has enough food supply amid the extended enhanced community quarantine to control the coronavirus pandemic.

Cathy Pastor, coordinator of Enhancing Innovative Family Enterprise Development, said the project seeks to transform subsistence farmers and livestock raisers into agrientrepreneurs through improved vegetable, free-range chicken and egg production.
