BIFF rebels surrender in Maguindanao

SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao: Seven active members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF), under the Bungos Faction, surrendered to the Philippine Army at the headquarters of the 7th Infantry (Tapat) Battalion in Datu Angal, Midtimbang.

Col. Jose Narciso, commander of the 601st Infantry Brigade, said the surrender was “a significant development in our campaign against the BIFF in our area of operation.”
