For most basketball fans, it’s easy to consider Vince Carter as one of your favorite players. Even for the most casual hoop dabblers who only watch highlights, they have likely come across “Half-man, half-amazing.” Even for those who don’t watch the NBA, Carter has registered probably the greatest dunk in history at the Sydney 2000 Olympics (now known as “the dunk of death.”)

Clearly, Carter has had a fulfilling career and is likely to make it to the Hall of Fame. He is the only NBA player to play in four different decades (90s, 00s, 10s and he made it to 2020). He hit a three last March 12 in what could be his final game against the New York Knicks.
