PYONGYANG: A visibly healthier and slimmer Kim Jong Un reappeared in nearly three weeks Saturday, state media reported following intense speculation that the leader of the nuclear-armed nation was seriously ill or possibly dead.

ALIVE AND SMILING North Korea’s main media arm, Korea Central News Agency, issued this picture allegedly minutes after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inaugurated a fertilizer plant in Sunchon. The KCNA said the 36-year-old leader was healthier and slimmer than the last three weeks, the period he wasn’t seen allegedly because of serious illness and he died. AFP PHOTO
