Authorities raided a warehouse in Manila over the weekend and seized P40 million worth of illegally imported medicines that were labeled as a cure for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), officials reported.
Also confiscated were boxes containing personal protective equipment or PPE, surgical masks, other medicines and medical supplies.
