CENTRAL Visayas has shown a sharp increase in the number of its coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the past few days due to the improved capabilities of testing centers and intensified contact tracing, the Department of Health (DoH) said on Friday.
On Thursday, Region 7 reported 205 new Covid-19 cases, which is 68 percent of the total 339 new cases recorded nationwide, which stood at 10,343.
