The government must allow all businesses to operate online to help them generate some cash that will be used to pay their employees, according to the ex-chief of a retailers’ organization.

During a webinar organized by the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) on Friday, Robert Claudio Sr., Quorum Group chairman and former president of the Philippine Retailers Association, said the Department of Trade and Industry and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases should “allow all businesses to operate [as] long as they can do it online.”
