The House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Franchises has issued an order for the National Telecommunications Commission to explain why it should not be held in contempt after shutting down the operations of media giant ABS-CBN.
The order, issued on May 5 and signed by committee chairman Franz Alvarez, was served electronically through e-mail on Monday and was immediately acknowledged by the office of the NTC Commissioner.
