GMA Network has made some gains from the absence of its rival as its flagship newscast 24 Oras led in the national television ratings game after ABS-CBN went off the air.

The Gozon-led broadcasting firm claimed 24 Oras, which is being simulcast on both GMA and GMA News TV, was the most-watched program from May 6 to 12, garnering a rating of 23.6 percent or 11.4 million viewers.
