MMDA tightens check on private cars on Metro Manila roads 

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Monday tightened its security check on private cars at entry points because of a surge in vehicular traffic as travel restrictions were eased.Checking of passes and identification cards will be stricter to ensure that only those who allowed outside of their homes are on the road, MMDA spokesman Celine Pialago said.
