The US Embassy in the Philippines announced on May 7 that the US government is providing an additional P298 million to help support the Philippines in the fight against Covid-19, bringing the total amount of US pandemic assistance to the Philippines to more than P768 million.
USAid, in partnership with Lanao Del Sur's provincial health office, trained 60 health workers and frontline responders to strengthen the region’s Covid-19 response capacity.
