COMMUTERS may have to surrender their personal information before boarding public utility vehicles (PUVs) as transportation authorities seek to firm up its method of contact tracing.

Once Metro Manila is put under a general community quarantine (GCQ), operators of PUVs would be required to have a logbook for their riders, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said in Memorandum Circular 2020-019.
