Two-time Most Valuable Player James Yap of Rain or Shine used the hiatus brought by the Covid-19 pandemic to improve his cooking skills with his mother in Alabang.

Yap, 38, said he is learning to cook laswa, adobong Bisaya (both Visayan dishes) and nilagang baka from his mother Annie, who used to own a small carinderia in Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
