The public health and economic crises that the country is facing will have both short and long-term impact on competition, according to the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC).

“In the short term, we may see firms exhibiting pricing behavior [that is] different from that in normal times,” PCC Chairman Arsenio Balisacan said during the membership meeting of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) held online earlier this week.
