WASHINGTON, D.C.: The fortunes of American billionaires rose by 15 percent in the two months since the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic hit, with Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg seeing massive gains, according to a study.
The more than 600 billionaires in the United States became even richer as technology stocks rose during virus lockdowns, an analysis of data by two think tanks published on Thursday (Friday in Manila) said.
