School isn’t where you go; it’s where you are

Dear Lloyd,

I heard from the news that without a vaccine for the coronavirus, there will be no classes for school year 2020-2021. I don’t know how to feel about it. We may not be able to come to school for a year. Or, if we do, it will not be the same regular face-to-face meeting. There have been some suggestions on blended learning, a combination of online-offline learning, but that too isn’t tested to be working at this point. I don’t want to waste one year of my life by staying at home. What do you think?
