SENATE Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri wants to amend the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act in order to extend up to September 30 the special powers granted to President Rodrigo Duterte to address the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
He appealed to other senators to amend section 9 of Republic Act (RA) 11469, which allows the President to realign public funds to finance the government’s response to Covid-19.
