According to the Department of Public Works and Highways, the final phase of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway, or TPLEx, project is set to open this month. This is about the 11.45-kilometer segment from Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, to Rosario, La Union. It is expected to take place by the last week of May. This will boost Baguio’s tourism receipts as the nation’s Summer Capital. I am sure that City Mayor Benjie Magalong will open the city with his exemplary strict quarantine protocols.
