CORONAVIRUS patients at the Sta. Ana Hospital, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and the Quirino Memorial Medical Center will be part of the experimental trials of Avigan (favipiravir) — a potential cure for the deadly disease, according to President Rodrigo Duterte.
In his report to Congress on Monday, the President said the Department of Health (DoH), through the United Nations Office for Project Services, is facilitating the delivery and receipt of Avigan sufficient for at least 100 patients.
