Lipat probinsya

MAYBE government may find it more coherent to reorder the steps required by the strategy that underpins the reloaded Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa Program. It should be lipat probinsya muna bago balik probinsya.

I am referring to government offices that should be based or located in the provinces as a starting point. A quick survey of government’s executive offices will show that regional offices or attached agencies — especially for Regions 4A or Calabarzon and 4B or Mimaropa — of the Department of Tourism (DoT), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Budget and Management, Department of Education, Department of Health, Department of Trade and Industry, and Department of Public Works and Highways, among others, are located in Metro Manila.
