THE Department of Health (DoH) urged individuals, especially those who survived the Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, to donate blood and convalescent blood plasma as it celebrates World Blood Donor Day on June 14.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, concurrent spokesman, said that it was imperative for the department to have fresh and regular blood supply for all patients, not just those infected with Covid-19
