The directors and officers of a certain bank are currently under the scrutiny of monetary authorities for the alleged violation of the country’s banking rules, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin Diokno said.
“This is with reference to an article published last 12 June 2020 in the column ‘About Town’ published by the Manila Standard pertaining to a complaint filed with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas against the top officials of a universal bank ‘over PhP4 billion worth of unreported and illegal Dosri loans,’” he said in a statement released on Monday.
