Investing in nonconventional sources of energy would help the Asia Pacific weather the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic that has disrupted economies here and abroad, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Manila-based multilateral lender said greater investment in clean energy infrastructure would contribute not only to the region’s recovery from Covid-19 but also make economies more resilient against future shocks.
