Investment pledges approved by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) dropped to P29.5 billion in the first five months of 2020 due to the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

In a virtual presser on Tuesday, PEZA Director General Charito Plaza said the amount was a 31-percent decrease from P43.2 billion in the same period last year.
