SANTO TOMAS, Davao del Norte: Mayor Ernesto Evangelista is urging the private telecommunication (telcos) entities and Internet service providers here to boost mobile connectivity and ensure unhampered delivery of critical services as the schools prepare for the opening of classes in August under the “new normal.”

“We are requesting them [telcos] to ensure the uninterrupted service and to address the increasing demand for stable internet connectivity. Our teachers are having a series of webinars and schools are doubling their time for online enrollment. Thus, boosting the internet connectivity either wired or mobile as the education sector embraces the ‘new normal’,” Evangelista said.
