OLONGAPO CITY: A Subic-based firm caught tampering with food expiry dates was set free because the warrant of arrest used in the raid was void.
Olongapo Regional Trial Court Branch 97 presiding Judge Melani Fay V. Tadili said the warrant of arrest used by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) operatives and members of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Intelligence and Investigation Office (SBMA-IIO) in conducting a raid should only be used for just one direct violation and not for multiple ones.
