VIRES Energy Corp. (VEC) is planning to commence the importation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as early as 2022, A Brown Co. Inc. said on Monday.
“Natural gas supply from Malampaya is expected to decline and reach its economic production threshold by the mid-2020s. VEC will build the necessary infrastructure to allow the importation of liquefied natural gas as early as 2022,” A Brown said in a disclosure.
