Business process outsourcing (BPO) firm Everise said it is planning to hire additional 2,000 work-from-home employees in the Philippines to supplement its headcount in Manila.
In a statement on Monday, the Singapore-based BPO firm said the move is also part of the firm’s initiative to reduce the country’s unemployment rate that is currently at 17.7 percent as of April.
