NTC orders ABS-CBN affiliate Sky Cable to shut down operations

The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) on Tuesday shut down the remaining channels of ABS-CBN Corp. where it can still air its shows.

In two separate orders issued on Tuesday signed by Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba and concurred by Commissioners Edgardo Cabarios and Delilah Deles, the NTC issued a cease and desist Order (CDO) on the other channels of ABS-CBN as they were covered by the original NTC order last May 5, which included Sky Cable.
