PRESIDENT Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte should step into the confrontation between the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) that could result in a shooting war between the two armed services, which have been at loggerheads for years.
The simmering feud between the military and the police reached boiling point with the killing of four Army intelligence personnel by policemen manning a checkpoint in Jolo, Sulu.
