PHNOM PENH: Cambodia, the host of the 13th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM13) Summit, has postponed the ASEM13, which was scheduled for November 16 and 17 in Phnom Penh, to mid-2021 because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
“Due to Covid-19, all ASEM SOM (Senior Officials’ Meeting) leaders unanimously expressed their understanding of and support for Cambodia’s request to postpone ASEM13 to mid-2021,” the foreign ministry said in a statement.
