The Department of Agriculture (DA) is proposing a P284.4-billion budget for 2021, more than three times its P79.9-billion budget this year, to bankroll its various programs.
During a teleconference with the House Committee on Agriculture and Food on Wednesday, Agriculture Secretary William Dar said the proposed budget would be used for the department’s existing and new programs — worth P61.8 billion and P222.6 billion, respectively — in 2021.
