Philippine shares tumbled into the red again on Thursday as lingering concerns about the escalating coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infection toll in the country dampened sentiment.

The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) fell by 1.48 percent or 92.92 points to close at its intraday low of 6,192.58, while the broader All Shares shed 1.04 percent or 38.23 points to finish at 3,645.52.
