Maynilad Water Services Inc. reported on Thursday that it resumed the construction of its P1-billion sewage treatment plant (STP) in Muntinlupa City after the government gradually eased lockdown restrictions in Metro Manila.

In a statement, the West Zone concessionaire said the Cupang Water Reclamation Facility in the city’s Cupang village was part of its long-term plan to expand the sewerage coverage in its concession area and help reduce the pollution reaching Manila Bay.
