THE government adopted stricter screening and surveillance activities in the country’s ports of entry to help curb the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), Malacañang said on Friday.

In a statement, Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases (IATF) approved the recommendations of National Task Force (NTF) on Covid-19 to "strengthen screening and surveillance activities."
