THE House of Representatives' Committee on Legislative Franchises is set to hold a hearing at 1 p.m. today, Friday to tackle recommendations of the technical working group on the franchise application of ABS-CBN.

“Our expectation is voting will be made this afternoon when the Committee on Legislative Franchises would convene,” Deputy Minority Leader and Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate, one of the authors of the 11 bills seeking to grant a franchise to ABS-CBN, said over a television interview on Friday morning.
